Offensive lineman Wesley Johnson, who has a written scholarship offer from Auburn in hand, is in no hurry to make a decision.

Johnson, 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds from Nashville’s Montgomery Bell Academy, participated in Vanderbilt’s camp on Sunday. He said he had a successful day.

“I won all the one-on-ones, so it worked out pretty well,” Johnson told AuburnUndercover.com.

Johnson said he is still considering Auburn, Vanderbilt and Duke and does not plan to make a decision until he’s visited all three schools for a game in the coming season.

“I want to do that before I make a decision,” Johnson said.

Johnson earned an offer with a standout performance in Auburn’s camp on July 12. He said offensive line coach Hugh Nall cautioned him that, with the signing classing filling up rapidly, time could be of the essence. But he said Sunday he wants to wait.

“I’m planning to do it on my own time,” Johnson said. “That’s the way I want to do it. If it looks like time is getting to be a big factor, maybe I’ll have to take a harder look at it.”

The Tigers, who will probably sign four offensive linemen, already have commitments from Aaron Moore (6-5, 250) of Frisco, Texas, and Andre Harris (6-4, 313) of Lovejoy High School in Hampton, Ga. They are also pursuing Johnnie Farms (6-3, 285) of Perry, Ga.; Steven Jacques (6-4, 280) of South Broward High School in Hollywood, Fla.; and Brandon Moore (6-5, 313) of Carver High School in Montgomery.
